Rules of the Board:

--Be considerate of other board members. No harassing, name-calling, resorting to politician-type tactics and all-out warfare when arguing a point. Keep it civil and positive please! Remember: Talk about "Rome," but we're not IN "Rome."

--Try to keep things as all-age appropriate as possible. To register with proboards, you need only be 13 so keep that in mind. Sometimes things just happen and that is forgotten, but we want the majority of this site to be all user-friendly. We may create a locked access area on the board for less than PG-13 material, if it comes to that. Most of Kevin McKidd's work is relevant to R-rated material, though, so this determination is subjective and primarily upheld if viewers complain about specific materials posted.

--No defamation of each other or of Kevin, his family, or his co-stars please. This is the quickest way to get your user name blocked. And, yes, you could come back under a different user name and we'll just keep blocking you when you keep at it. No one likes a spoilsport.



Right now, once registered, you can pick from a few Kevin McKidd skins or backgrounds we've created in our testing phase. We're also working on a few related avatars, but that's still under development. We want to make this a fun place to interact so suggestions are always welcomed!

Hi to all Kevin McKidd fans

Welcome to the Kevinmckiddonline.com forum

This is a forum set up to chat about Kevin, his past, present and future projects and a whole bunch of other fun stuff. So Register and join in the fun and become apart of the Kevinmckiddonline.com community. Any news, updates or messages from Kevin you will be the first to receive the news even before our main website is updated....

KMK members have the opportunity to take part in periodic Q and A's with Kevin directly . Members are not emailed when these happen you need to keep an eye on the board to participate. Q and A's are exclusive to KMK members we do not advertise on our website, once Kevin has answered the questions they are posted on our forum for a week or 2 for all of you to enjoy, then posted on our website for general viewing.

Chat room sessions take place the 3rd Sunday of every month unless stated otherwise ~ GMT20:00, all welcome. Chat room sessions are in English only and please note that Kevin does not participate in our Chat room session.

We have listed the rules of the board in the above post. These are a few extra guidelines to help make life easier for all on the board

--Remember not everyone has seen all of Kevin's movies if you are posting spoilers please add *SPOILER* in the title or use spoiler tags.
--Fan art please Feel free to use these on other sites to help promote Kevin McKidd. No hotlinking please; copy the images directly to your hard drive and transfer to your own webspace and please credit accordingly.
--in-turn please no hotlinking photos from other sites on to this board
--we ask that you please do not make one word posts like WOW or just a smiley, you don't have to feel obliged to respond to every post.
--No thread is to old for you to post a response to so please go through the boards and post away.
--You never know who might be lurking and yes Kevin has an account on this form, so please refrain from squee type chatter on the boards
-- We ask that Information provided by Kevin McKidd or his team which is not public knowledge, not be posted or discussed on other sites unless permission is granted to do so with due credit.
-- no Tolling, FYI a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community

For information on how to set up your profile, use avatars,skins and banners you will find a detailed post under support. Please if you have any question either leave a post under support or PM me directly and I will assist you. We now have a full range of skins and avatars for you to choose from. Although we are now through the teething stages we will keep improving our board so remember this is a fun place to interact and suggestions are always welcome!

The idea of this forum is to build a community that is Kevin centric and to have loads of fun while doing that , however for that to happen we need our members to participate. So Happy Posting

Welcome to the NEW LOOK Kevin McKidd Online discussion forum

In honour of this occasion, and with the site now official, we have revised our forum rules

Please read the following carefully and keep them in mind when posting. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact a forum Administrator

RESPECT

1. Do not defame each other, Kevin, his family, or his co-stars.

3. Talk about Kevin's projects and do not make things personal. That includes avoiding comments like - "I can't believe you would think like that", "I just don't know where you're coming from", "Why do you watch if all you're going to do is complain?", "You're so negative all the time".

4. Recognise the distinction between a different point of view and a personal attack and respect it.

5. Remember that a different opinion is not a wrong opinion. We are all entitled to our own so do not tell someone they are wrong simply because they disagree with you.

6. Express your thoughts and move on. Do not try and change a person's mind by restating your same view over and over. You are unlikely to succeed and it just leads to animosity.

7. Do not engage in trolling - that is, no posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages simply to get a reaction.

8. If you have a problem with a post, send a private message (PM) to that person and notify a forum administrator directly. Do not bring the concern or dispute to the original thread.

CONFIDENTIALITY and COPYRIGHT

9. As members of this forum, you may be privy to certain information from Kevin before it becomes public knowledge. Information provided by Kevin McKidd or his team which is not public knowledge should not be posted or discussed on other sites unless permission is granted to do so and appropriate credit is given. Information in this context includes articles, photos and videos which are exclusive to the forum.

10. All articles, photos and videos from other sources posted at the board should be appropriately credited by including the name of the source and a hyperlink, where available.

AWARENESS

11. Know what is out there. Read the board and the thread you intend on posting in before posting to avoid duplication. Duplicate posts may be removed.

12. Be aware that not everyone indulges in spoilers. If you are posting spoilers in a spoiler-free thread, use spoiler tags. If you are starting a new thread which will have spoilers in it, add *SPOILER* in the title.

13. The language of this board is English but we acknowledge that our fans come from around the world. Foreign language posts (including articles and videos) are welcomed but we ask that they be accompanied by an English translation.

14. Pursuant to Proboard rules, members must be 13 and over to join. Bear in mind that there are younger members around and keep post content age appropriate (eg PG 13). Also, you never know when Kevin may be lurking. Think about what you would be comfortable with him reading.

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING

15. Title your threads clearly and succinctly. Long thread titles may be edited.

16. Stay on topic. Off topic posts may be deleted.
