when is Alex going to catch a break? Just when he starts to figure women out he gets kicked in the teeth AGAIN! Not that Lucy appeared to be anything serious but still!
Callie/Az/Mark/Baby Sofia=CUTE. For once I didn't want to retch when they came on the screen. Less is definitely more with this group.
April is overly cautious because of her history. Doesn't mean she's less right.
Avery is still boring but I'm glad Owen 'got him' and his reasons. Owen is right though, Jackson gives up way too easily.
Meredith is just....there are no words. How can she be so dense at this point in her career? Referring to the clinical trial and not her stumbling during the adoption interview. Her behavior there was perfectly understandable.
Can we please stop with the pining? Teddy's 'husband', Lexie over Mark and now Alex over Lucy to some extent. Gods!
I knew Alex was going to blurt out Meredith's stupidity. About time.
Sooooo glad to see Kevin on screen tonight. Gods, I've missed his intensity and energy. Missed Owen's objectivity very much in the last few weeks. He was spot on with Cristina. Just loved every second even though I erupted in angry mutters at my TV screen several times tonight.
WTH is Cris soooo....what's the word here? I can't think of a word that really fits. Again, career driven isn't going to cut it for me. She's just plain arrogant and one-track minded. Owen's right, she never had the qualifications for Cheif Resident. He didn't even get into her lack of patient management skills or just good old fashioned empathy, which some people really need when confronted with life-threatening situations. I wanted to slap her. And as much as I don't buy that the Cristina character has regressed this much as to be so ignorant, I don't buy that she suddenly understands what Owen was trying to tell her either. Being a top-notch surgeon is what she's best at. There is no shame in that. But not becomeing Cheif Resident will gnaw at Cris and she will see it as a failing no matter what she accomplished later. Way too many character shifts for Cris this year without plausible cause.
And I guess we know for sure now that Cris will be pregnant as of next week. *gags* ABC please see the light and cut this show off after next year. Let's give Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd the chance to work with some decent material for a change.

I liked the episode It was a very good epi from my point of view.
I don’t like Cris’ regression either, but I think she was just desperate. She played fair (in Callie’s case) and was punished, her husband picks the CR and she has no influence. I was glad, the patient wanted her to remove the tree. I liked it also that ‘no sex’ strategy had no impact on their relationship. I don’t think Cris got Owen’s explanation why she would have been unhappy being CR, it was just the second best outcome and she accepted it.
Teddy should move as far as she can. I like Henry, but he is too good for her.
As for Alex, I had never the feeling he was into Lucy, she was always the one to make the first/another step in their ‘relationship’. And they were not that much in love to go together to Texas or Africa.
I get it why Alex told Owen about Mer’s cheating. I’m not sure he would have done it, if it were not for Cristina’s speech, Owen’s presence at that moment and alcohol as a catalyser.
I wonder what the writers plan in Mark/Lexie SL. It’s all the same.

always enjoy the last few epis of a season ~ tying up the loose ends I enjoyed this episode the Story lines and you can see now where its all going
Alex and Lucy ok so she is off MMM Teddy and Here Skink guy potential for her to move on but hey nothing in the news about her leaving Greys so Im guessing Henry will win out here
Meridith oh ouch this is going to be a ride love the way Alex outed her
Owen and Cris well yeah they rocked and love how Owen just roles with it with Cris
Also that look on Owens face over the Mer news priceless
Thought Mer was good at her interview ... nailed that I would think
And how Owen nailed it with Cris and Jessie over then not being great candidates for CR
My money is still on April
great Epi all round

Anyone notice how in this episode That Owen and April deal with Cristina in the same way? When Cristina was going gaga over the tree in the guy's lung, April was able to talk her down from it by being blunt, straight forward. As was Owen when he told her about CR. They both kind of handled her the same way. That's why I agree it will probably be April because she's a procedural juggernaut that keeps everyone in check on her own.

Yeah my pick is also April. There realy isn't anyone else when you think about it. She still has a lot to learn about the ways of the world but she has the qualifications that Owen pointed out to Cris.

I have a couple of minutes to spare so thought I would drop by. I enjoyed this episode although agree with those who don't like the way they are painting Cristina again. Feels like a rehash of things I thought we were well past. Apparently not.
It was nice to see Owen much more front and centre than he has been almost all season and there were a couple of really lovely scenes between Owen and Cris which have been lacking over the last few weeks.
I agree with those who say that April will probably be Chief Resident. Cristina and Jackson were out of the race early on in the piece and by episode's end it's clear that Meredith will be out too. You have to think that Alex ratting on Meredith isn't really going to show him in a favourable light so April is the only choice left. She reminded me alot of Owen with all her talk of protocol and following the rules. Seems a very military-like mindset, which Owen can relate to.
