Total snooze fest for me but loved the cute OC moment in the beginning and how he wanted to play with his new toys in the ER lol thought the part with owen and jackson trying to get mer's patent a body scan was hilarious. in contrast with Cristina finally realizing the influence she can have in the hospital. Other than that the boy and Alex was cute and Annette O'Toole's patient story was sad but nothing really grabbed me. Hoping next week's is better since it seems its focusing on Owen in one of the stories
Also not sure if its symbolism or what but the ER was where OC met and now that its been resurrected so to speak like OC's relationship, it's kind of like Cristina giving him the present of the ER a much better version of when he gave her Teddy as a present.

I loved the opening scene... and while the rest of the episode was a bit dull, I'm hoping this means they're saving up their C/O storyline minutes for a LOT more of them in other episodes before the end of the season.
I HATED Cristina's misuse of her new power in firing some poor schmuck just so that she could get into some cardiac research. However, the whole "we're doctors running a hospital" storyline is so completely divorced for reality... I wonder what the shelf life of the "We own and operate our own hospital" storyline will be, and whether or not the premise will eventually fade out of continuity.
This episode just felt like a placeholder for me -- an episode where everyone gets a few moments to stabilize before the Next Big Drama goes ka-blam over the landscape. I could so do without April's ruining the State Fair for me, though.

One additional thought -- something that bothered all through the episode is that I really, really HATED seeing Bailey having to chase other characters around and beg for their attention. Whatever happened to Bailey as having some command and some authority in the halls of that joint? The last two seasons have really been unkind to Dr. Miranda -- I want to see no more of Booty-Call Bailey, and return to the glories of The Nazi, where the rest of the staff would be asking "how high" when she barks at them to jump.
