Squeeeee! Can I just say it's a THRILL to actually see Owen doing stuff again? Wow, it feels like it's been a long, long while since he actually had something hands-on to do! w000t!

Loved Owen in action and also loved Cristina's concern for Alex!!! Looks like the Owen/Cristina issue is going to get dragged into the next season. It's getting annoying now!! I really hope KMK does come back for Season 10!!!

I think that the finale is going to be very exciting! It was awesome to see Owen taking charge and doing some work. I think the problem that Owen an Christina is having is a serious problem and people need to understand that this is what some couples really have. I hope that it does go in to season 10 and Christina does change her mind and decides that she does want children or maybe later in life but we will see later I guess. I love Cowen

It was awesome to see Owen practicing medicine again. My jaw hung open in disbelief during the flashmob, but I was actually smiling. I loved the corny cheesiness of it. And the fact that they kept that completely under wraps and it didn't leak. I liked it especially because none of the regulars was actually dancing and singing. I hated the musical ep. Don't get me wrong, all of the cast sang beautifully, but I thought the song choices were cringeworthy and it just didn't work for me. But I digress.
Did anyone else notice that the giant tree seemed to crash into the first floor window entirely on a horizontal plane? Dear writers, have you ever seen a tree fall? Just curious.
I was so heartbroken for Cristina and Owen. For her because no matter how hard she was trying to save Paul, Owen seemed barely to notice, or acknowledge it. His worst side came out. I know all of the reasons why he is depicted this way, but from her perspective, I was sad for her. And I was sad for Owen, realizing the magnitude of the feelings he had developed for this child, and it starting to dawn on him how it is probably incompatible with wanting a life with Cristina. I did like his talk with Meredith, because he expressed both the strength of the feelings the child brought out in him, but also his doubts and his efforts to talk himself out of it. I know Meredith being in the middle of Cristina and Owen in any way is kryptonite for some people, but for once she was listening without judgement. She didn't tell Cristina what to do, and she didn't tell Owen what to do.
As a viewer, I am weary beyond measure of this whole child mess. I am not convinced that we will get anything meaningful next week amidst all of the storm chaos, and I am astonished and angry at the refusal to address this all season long. Another summer awaits us wondering what in the world could possibly make this relationship work, other than our hope that it will.

I am heartbroken for Owen, what he is dealing with. The only purpose of this storyline with Ethan was to make him suffer more. I can´t stand the writers for this.
I can´t believe it was Meredith he asked for advice, what a beautiful scene between them and she was so supportive, so understanding, no judgement at all. I can even forgive her for calling him a pig. He found at least one soul in that d**n hospital who gets him, who supports him, and I love how she asked how he was when the oblivious Cristina didn´t know how he feels, ugh, I can´t stand her total lack of sensitivity. I can´t believe the writers had her ask what she was supposed to do, it only shows she doesn´t get Owen at all, what he wants, who he is. Of course, I wished Paul would wake up, for Ethan to have his dad back, but this level of cruelty from writers towards Owen is beyond any measure. When he decides he wants to be Ethan´s adoptive father, Paul wakes up. My heart breaks for Owen. What torture it must be for him.

More than ever convinced that no talk between CO. Until next season or better said SF season 10: otherwise, Shonda and her writters won't have drama left to write. As for, As far as I am concerned, will keep YTing with CO' s clips. No going to waste time watching live or a complete episode !

Squeeeee! Can I just say it's a THRILL to actually see Owen doing stuff again? Wow, it feels like it's been a long, long while since he actually had something hands-on to do! w000t! Agree that it was great to see the badass trauma doctor again! love when he is in charge ! I liked his conversation with Meredith. It was a nice chat and I loved to see Meredith just chatting with him without judging ... just understanding what he is going through. A little sad that Cristina is not yet fully understanding what he is feeling (I thought from previous epis that she got it ..but this one haven't seen much). Love that she is trying - in her own way - to do her best to give him what she thinks he is needing ... Baileys and Richard... priceless. Love those two! I am not going to even get into detail about Callie and Arizona. Sad for those fans. One SL that I absolutely hated this week: Alex. I hated (can I say it again? hated!) his speech about "if a woman hits you, you take it or leave"(or something like that) . What is that crap? not that I accept that the guy hit Jo, but violence from each side, is unacceptable. There are so many cases out there where the guys are mocked when filling the police report about abusive girlfriends/wives. And we have seen how many cases end up in murder. Domestic Violence should never be accepted!!!!!!!!!!! thanks Derek for adding a little bit of reason to the scene, but it is not enough. on a lighter note, I must say that I found the flash mob quite cute. I found myself smiling. Liked that everybody was doing a little part on keeping the surprise under wraps and pushing April to be at the ER at the exact moment. Even Owen! (bless him and his romantic heart) and Cristina's face? priceless! so, one more epi and SO much to resolve! here we go...

Okay, here are my brief thoughts from the episode.
Loved seeing Owen back in action in the OR. Also loved seeing him orchestrate April being available for the flash mob proposal. But I'm frustrated to no end that if we do get a conversation between C&O about the child situation, it is going to be in the finale. Amidst a storm. And other emergencies. What a wasted opportunity, yet again.
I liked the Owen/Meredith interaction. Owen asking Meredith about adoption was finally something that made sense. But Cristina having no clue what Owen was feeling, after last episode, did not.
Nothing much to say about Callie and Arizona. Sorry fans out there. This is what Shonda does. Apparently she really does believe that everyone cheats. I think (maybe) I understand what she is trying to show - with Callie, Arizona feels like an incomplete person because Callie knew her pre-plane crash and amputation. She knew her as "whole" and now she is not what she used to be. The new doc (have even forgotten her name) has only ever known, and been attracted to, Arizona as she is now. I suppose there is a certain freedom, release, attraction in that for Arizona. But could Shonda not have Arizona recognise that and just stop short of actually going "there"??
I also liked the Bailey and Richard stuff. I even didn't mind the Derek and what's her name intern stuff.
What I hated (like Betina) was the Alex/Jo storyline, for precisely the same reasons. It did not sit well with me that the message was "never hit a woman" when the stronger message should have been that violence is never, ever okay.
I also (don't hate me) could not stand the flash mob. I was pretty much sitting there making the exact same face that Cristina was, the whole way through. Way too cheesy for me.
