Rome is the greatest show I have seen, even now... Recently I re-see this show again(because I can't wait to see Journeyman but actually "a week an episode" is killing me...I need to see other his actions...and his movies I only can find some of them....)
Rome is the first show I have seen of him...it's amazing. I always love that centurion Lucius Vorenus, his roles somehow wearing scars or blood on face...that makes him quite perfect!
But I can't find many people know about Rome in our country, it had some "unsuitable scenes"(I mean those erotic scenes) and our country is sort of conservative, they may never put shows like that on TV...I saw someone introduced it on a public TV forum and I decided to see it...
Anyway, if you love Kevin and never see Rome...you'd better see it...it's exciting, stunning, unbelievably good!
Hope you know what I mean...never mind...I should say something about Rome...I really love it!

I have to agree with you on that note it is a superb series - I've just watch the two seasons back to back and enjoyed it all over again....

Me too! It's the best tv series ever. I only have the first season and 3 episodes from the second season but I've watched them all at least 3 times so far.

Shake hands... I watch it every day...I converted all 2 seasons into mp4 files and bring them with me...so that I can see them when I'm sitting on a bus or a ship...I'm hopelessly addicted to Rome... It's so amazing not only because of Vorenus...I watch it again and again...it's perfect. But...Mark Anthony...@_@ How about acting with a man he had kissed....

That's funny because I checked out ROME because the girls on another board were raving about it and James Purefoy, while Purefoy is magnificent in it, Kevin's portrayal of Vorenus blew me away! Same thing with Bedrooms and Hallways, I bought it because Purefoy was in it but I forgot all about him after the first 15 minutes. i thought they were both very convincing in their roles.

Hoho...when the first time I finished Rome...Mark Anthony was quite impressive and I loved to see him and Atia...when his body was chained and paraded through street I felt very angry with Octavian... but....after I saw that gay movie...I laugh when Anthony was talking with Vorenus...I know their roles are very convincing and remarkable and tragic, but it's funny...that movie at the same time is comic...

I watched seasons 1 and 2 of Rome over the course of a week. I can't imagine waiting for episodes week by week! I love watching my favorite shows in big clumps. I'm planning on watching it all the way through once more before I send if off to my daughter--she's a big KMK fan, too.

I can't count the number of times I've watched Rome now but I never grow tired of it. My husband and I have just rewatched season 1 over the last couple of weeks. We're working through the special features now and then will start on season 2.

Agreed. I can't remember how many times I've seen Rome and each viewing brings out something new. Amazing series.

I watch my favorite series and movies over and over, and I still marvel at something I missed the first 10 times, or notice something that didn't click without the rest of the story that comes later. I'm definitely looking forward to viewing Rome again.

Hey Rose glad you are enjoying Rome..... I lent my DVD box set to a friend of mine (at that time she was just out from Sudan) and I think she holds the record for length taken to watch the two seasons.. Season one and extras she finished in one day (the Saturday) Season Two and extras, finished on the following day the Sunday I took me a few weeks watching about 3 episodes a night ...how she managed 2 seasons in two days is beyond me. Needless to say she is now an avid fan .....

Yeah, that sounds like me--a free Saturday, my knitting, a cat on my lap, and a new series to watch. Rome pretty took over my free time for several days.
