I would suspect 'extended' and 'unaired' referr to deleted scenes. I do hope so and that some of those are Owen or O/C bits. It feels like we were all a bit short changed due to an over emphasis on certain plot lines. On past seasons of Greys' DVDs, the extended episodes include small bits of scenes/dialog cut from the original airing added back into the episode. Normally they just continue scenes without adding anything unexpected to the storyline. I'm also wishing for some extension of several C/O scenes--particularly the one with visiting Owen's mother.

I'm not interested in the kiss at the end of the shower scene. I'm glad it was cut because it was inappropirate for that moment IMO.
I would like an extension or the missing bit of the next morning. I believe Callie saw Owen in Cristina's bed. Later she tells Mark that Owen can 'keep a secret'. Well the fact that he was in Cristina's bedroom is pretty secret and not something he wanted the whole hospital to know. It would just be nice to see the connection Callie makes in her head.

Oh, I'm interested in the cut kiss (considering that it has ben cut is no more inappropriate; besides his kisses are always interesting LOL) and, consequently,in what followed. But I know that the scene kiss has been shot, I don't think the same about what happened in the night and in the morning.

I agree with you re: the kiss was not appropriate in the shower scene. The cut kiss is exactly what should make the deleted scenes list. Several deleted scenes from seasons past were cut because they didn't fit with where the characters were going; e.g., they cut a cute scene from season 2 that showed Derek and Addison at the trailer reminiscing about a vacation and getting along, which TPTB correctly thought might confuse the viewers with the wrong impression of the direction their current relationship was taking. One shortened scene I had forgotten about was the morning after the shower, and that's just the kind of thing they might add back into the episode--it doesn't really change anything, just fills the story in a bit more, and might have been cut solely for time constraints.

According to me, instead, a kiss was obvious, because we know that she is stroking, consoling and undressing him and that the following day he'll apologize to her because he fell asleep naked, when he was supposed to make "something else". A kiss was not inappropriate, but it was superfluous. Seeing a Kevin's kiss is always interesting, so I hope to see this cut kiss. Insted we can imagine the following scene: she helps him to go to bed and he falls asleep.

Sorry if this is obvious, but how do we know that there was a kiss cut? I vaguely recall that something was cut but didn't think it was a kiss, only more footage of Cristina undressing Owen and taking care of him...but maybe I just made that up.
I would like to see the Owen/Callie morning after scene.
okay EDIT to say that I went back and read all the episode 12 threads and the idea that the kiss was cut came from one single review of the episode which said Cristina stepped into the shower and kissed Owen. There's a chance that the reviewer just made a mistake, I guess. Sometimes it happens - they don't really pay attention and get details wrong, but this seems like something pretty significant. At any rate, the scene worked much better without a kiss.
I just want to see all of the uncut Owen and O/C stuff as well as bloopers. I'm not fussed what it is.

Well, I only imagined that, but I didn't think that the scene had been shot. A person in the chat had said that a cut scene of a kiss at the end of the shower exists (but I don't know if they'll put this scene in the dvd). Maybe Leanne remembers the person's name. Instead, unlikely, I don't think there is a scene of Owen/Callie: maybe it would have been very interesting, but it would have been taken potency off in the scene in which Owen apologizes to Cristina. Yes, I'd like see all of the uncut Owen and O/C stuff as well as bloopers, too.

Genius, there was definitely and Owen/Callie morning after scene. There were promo shots for it (of Callie standing in Cristina's doorway, smiling at someone in Cristina's bed, who we know to be Owen). Also, several reviewers made reference to the scene and I think at one point it even appeared on a summary on the official ABC site.

Maybe, as I said, They thought that it was a scene that could take off something to the apologize scene of Owen/Christina.

LOL Genius, I understand your english just fine but if you ever struggle with anything, you can tell me in italian and I will translate (or do my best to). So who is going to purchase season 5? Each season is so expensive when it's first released in Australia, and then after 6 months to a year, it goes down in price (often, to less than half price). Part of me says to wait but another part of me knows I won't be able to.

I'm usually the first in line to purchase GA DVDs on the release date, when they are at a special price. Last year, there was even a rebate if you purchased both the DVDs and the Blu-Ray.
