We went to the movies today and one of the Preflix items was about Percy Jackson. They showed a few seconds of the billboard lighting, including a shot in which Kevin was standing there with the two teen stars. How sad am I that just seeing him in a brief shot on screen was enough to make me smile?

Ella-I don't think it's sad at all that you smiled when you saw that brief glimpse of Kevin in the Percy Jackson trailer. I would have too. I was reading the description of Poseidon in the glossary of a collection of essays on the Percy Jackson book and it made me smile and feel very happy when it said that Poseidon was very randy. Everything that Kevin does makes me smile and feel very happy. Discovering Kevin on Grey's Anatomy was a huge blessing for me after a very sad time in my life so I am having a lot of fun and constantly smiling. ;D ;D

Ranniez, I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having a difficult time. I'm so glad you're here and we're always here for you too! I know just what you mean about how Kevin makes things better.

Thanks so much for your message and your thoughts, Marcy. Things are going so much better for me now. Everything Kevin does makes me smile and very happy. That has been a big help to me in a lot of different ways. Joining this board has also been a big help to me. I joined to talk with other fans. The welcome I received here has been truly awesome and has made me feel better too. I really enjoy this board and sharing posts with the other fans like you.
That being said I am looking forward to Percy Jackson. I hope Kevin has a large role in it. Poseidon is Percy's dad after all. I think this will be a lot of fun, too.
Take care now!!! (LOL) ;D ;D

Yes, I don't know why!! He's Percy's father!!! Maybe, because Poseidon appears at the end of the book.

Pat yourself on the back, Geek America. According to Variety, four of the five most-watched trailers online this past week were for new or upcoming genre flicks. That's because the world has caught on to what we geeks knew all along -- vampires, werewolves and maching-gun-toting angels are awesome! Check out the full article after the jump. Variety reports that "Lionsgate's "Daybreakers" took the crown for the first time with a robust 113% increase for a total of over 1 million views in its release week. "Sony's "Legion" claimed second place with 56% growth for over 517,000 views with two weeks until release. Its six weeks on the chart marks the most of any film trailer. "Fox 2000's "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" moved up three spots to steal third place. Fantasy pic nearly doubled its view count with a 94% increase for a total of 444,582 views with five weeks until release."Denzel Washington starrer "Book of Eli" leaped from No. 7 to No. 4 with a 69% increase for a total of over 337,000 views. Warner Bros. pic is one week away from release. "Universal's "The Wolfman" howled into fifth place from No. 9, the largest jump of any film on the chart. Horror pic grew 82% for over 325,000 views with five weeks until release. "Returning films include "Dear John" at No. 6 and "Youth in Revolt" at No. 7. "Three new films round out the chart: "Cop Out," "Shutter Island" and "Leap Year."" www.fearnet.com/news/b17911_geeks_win_again.html
