No, I'm not talking about talent, but performances and a great performance is not diminished by the short time, or only actors with long parts should deserve an award. I can say right or wrong for what I feel and for me Kevin's performance is so good that is inconceivable to think differently. His performance was praised, so a nomination (and I'm not talking about receiving an award) was right.
And I didn't tell that Sharon Lawrence is not a good actress, but that this performance in Grey's Anatomy was not so wonderful and not better than that of the other guest actors/actresses performances!!! It's different. Yes, this is my opinion, but not only mine! And yes this is subjective as that of the critics.

I agree 100% with everything you've just said, Genius.
More screentime just means more opportunity for a greater number of people to sit up and start paying attention to who an actor is. Here's hoping that season 6 is even more outstanding where Kevin is concerned.

Yes, I hope that, because he deserves more than a praise. Like I've said to Marcy, I think to be like him (same month and same year): I never think to deserve something more than the others, but for my deserving friends I lose my mind if they don't have what they deserve!! I'm too disappointed (but I'll live with it as soon as hot stop to kill me ;D ) because I was sure that he'd have had a nomination. I didn't demand the Emmy, but the nomination was right, a lot of critics praised him. And I didn't demand an Emmy, for example, for Journeyman (even though it was my favourite show and he had everything over his shoulders), but, according to me, Owen Hunt is his best performance so far and he deserved at least a nomination (and he had even the difficulty of the accent)!! So, I'll be positive and I'll hope best times for the next year!!

www.televisionwithoutpity.com/show/emmy_awards/emmy_awards_2009_who_will_win.phpEmmy Awards 2009: Who Will Win, Who Should Win Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series Should Win: Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy) Will Win: Dianne Wiest (In Treatment) We do frown upon the idea of rewarding anything associated with Grey's Anatomy, but Oh deftly handled a tough mental and physical story line with a boyfriend who is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder this season. Plus, she's never actually won for this role, so it is far past due. But we predict that Emmy voters will stay in their comfort zone and again acknowledge last year's winner Wiest with a trophy for her role as therapist to In Treatment's therapist.

Today's Emmy? I'm glad I'm in this board ... as soon as you know something, I know it too. I hope they will send the EMMYS in Austria somewhere. Have to look for it.
