Ok so we have a whole bunch of negativity around Teddy here and on every other board or social network... I'm challenging our fanfic/dabbler members to tackle the negative and make it a positive how would you write Teddy or how would you remove her from Grey's or Owen ... Love to see what you come up with ;D (remember this is suppose to be fun for writer and reader) ****happy for our Video members or Graphic Members to jump in with a contribution ps those who dont do Fanfic if you have ideas Share them below (not bashing just ideas for topic) Im sure it might spark a fanfic writer into including your idea in there fanfic or artwork etc...

This is a great idea, Leanne. Not much of a fic writer here but I look forward to seeing what people come up with.

Not sure if you wanted our responses here or in the fic section. Leave it up to you Leanne. Here's my entry. Just a little conversation between Teddy and Owen after the events of 6x18 "Suicide is Painless"
"Be Not Afraid-A Friendship Redefined"www.fanfiction.net/s/5855214/1/

Rural, I really enjoyed that and I could deal with a scene and resolution to this triangle along those lines. Fingers crossed that's where we're headed.

Hey here's my contribution, I normally do fanfic.net but can't get into my acct for some reason, once I can I'll take this down and post the link:
Owen woke suddenly, and glanced the clock on Cristina’s bedside table- 4:00am. Still 3 hours before it was time to get to work. He sighed and turned over and watched Cristina sleep. Her face was almost angelic, so decieving, he smiled to himself as he gently pushed away a deviant curl that was covering her left eye. This is his favorite moment of the day: watching Cristina sleep before they get up for their daily routine. He doesn’t think about anything else when he’s watching her. Definitely not life at SGH. Not Iraq, and most certainly not Teddy. Its out of time and out of space, kind of like the vent, his own private serenity. Part of him watches Cristina with guilt. Guilt for thinking that bringing Teddy on was a good idea in the first place. He still doesn’t know why he did it exactly, except for the fact that he saw Cristina unhappy and was hoping to give her a different kind of present.
Who knew of the chaos that would follow, but surprisingly Cristina never held a grudge against him. Even when Teddy announced her undying love for him, which he was forced to acknowledge the feelings he once had, Cristina never budged, and he remained by her side through it all.
************* Its Teddy’s last day at SGH.
Complications with a patient surgery just couldn’t be ignored by Derek and the board. Ignoring Jackson and Cristina’s clinical advice, Teddy made a decision that ended a patient’s life when it could have been avoided. Just to make a point.
He thought about the grief Teddy gave him for siding with Cristina but he was advocating for the now deceased patient, “I’m the attending, she’s the resident Owen, your professional loyalty is with me.” As if to say, remember in Iraq when I had your back all those times?
Owen replied, “I’m sorry Teddy. You know that isn’t true. It’s not about you and Cristina. It’s about what’s right. You made a bad decision, and now it’s probably going to cost you your job. I have a responsibility to go to Derek because part of my trauma team was involved. Please understand.”
Teddy scoffed at him, “Yeah I understand completely. There was a time when you would back me up even if wrong. Now there’s nothing left.”
“Teddy, I.. “, Owen paused seeing the tears welling up in her eyes which were now a dark blue, the shade he knew they were when she was upset. “Just do what you have to do Owen, I’m done here,” with that she walked away from him not even looking back.
A few weeks earlier after things ended badly with Sloan, Teddy tried once more to seek comfort in Owen. He helped her as much as he could, but things with Cristina were finally back on track and he didn’t want to jeopardize all the hard work they have accomplished. Cristina encouraged him to be there for Teddy, but things have never been the same between them since she rang that bell. As a result Teddy sought more comfort with Callie and Arizona, and to some extent Cristina.
One night to reach out to her, he had a few drinks with Teddy and things got messy and he reluctantly pushed her away again.
“Owen….please just one time. It’s all I will ever ask of you. Then maybe we both won’t feel so cheated. No one has to know, “ Teddy leaned into him for a kiss and he backed away from her.
“Teddy, please don’t do this. That’s not who I am. You know that. Think of what we’d be doing to Cristina. I’m getting you a cab…”, Owen put his arm around her to stabilize her as he walked her outside for some fresh air. He tried to ignore the sobbing, and Meredith's voice in his head.
He knew this time it would mean a likely end to their friendship. What they never knew they had was in the past, and is going stay there because Cristina is his future. He wished Teddy could see the same, but it was obvious she never would, and he was tired of having to draw imaginary lines.
Cristina was more angry with him for going to Derek than about the night with Teddy. He understood. She was loosing the teacher she most desperately wanted for years and finally had thanks to him, but it almost cost them their personal life together.
“I can deal with her wanting you, because its clear that you want me, but I can’t deal with not having a teacher again”, was her exact words. They were kind of a surprise to Owen that she could so easily look past that. He found it odd that Cristina was so set on Teddy, when Cristina was the one teaching most of the time.
When he found out Teddy had officially been given a pink slip he tried to talk to her, but she wouldn’t acknowledge him. He offered his truck to help her move a few times when he found out she gave up her cottage, but nothing. He wasn’t surprised, but he wished that things could be different. He missed his friend, but at the same time he knew that part of his life would never be the same. At least Callie and Arizona would be there for her.
His thoughts were interrupted when Cristina started snoring lightly. He always thought it was funny when she snored. In her sleep she cuddled up next to him, laying her head on his chest, with her arm around his waist. He responded by pulling up the covers around her and rubbing her back, wishing every day could be as perfect as life was in this moment.

Thanks for the inspiration ladies and for trying to focus my frustration about this storyine into renewing my writing bug.
I have a procedural question - the piece I'm working on keeps getting longer and since I don't have a website or elsewhere to provide a link to, I'm wondering how long is the maximum entry one can post here as an actual fanfic before readers' eyes would cross?

You can start an account on fanfiction.net. It's free and very easy to set up. Just a thought.

Ok So I Roleplay in a forum as Teddy. This is a scene between Owen and Teddy after the shooting. I can only take credit for my writing as Teddy. My partner plays a wonderful Owen so I had someone exceptional to work off of. Hope you read it and like it. It's closure for Teddy. seriouslyrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=bar&action=display&thread=144And here is the signature I made especially for this scene
