www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Look-1031456.aspxAnd the May sweeps weddingpalooza continues.... On May 5, Grey's Anatomy's Callie and Arizona celebrate their fairy-tale wedding, which is held in the woods, officiated by Miranda and boycotted by one bride's disapproving parent. (Mark steps in to save the day.) But what I'm more curious about is why Derek and Meredith are no-shows. Rumor has it they may be legalizing their Post-it-note marriage to speed up an adoption process. "I don't know if the whole thing goes through," says Chyler Leigh, whose character, Lexie, "would be ecstatic to be an aunt." (image on site)

TV guide Mega Buzz How long will it take for Callie to recover on Grey's Anatomy? — Aleah NATALIE: Because Callie has yet to see her baby, she'll attempt to sprint down the road to recovery. "We're going to see Callie struggling to recover at a rate that's much faster than other characters think she can or should recover," Sara Ramirez says. "She's going to be wrestling and negotiating with herself and others in order to see her baby and get the strength for them to trust her to hold her child because she wants to see her baby so bad." www.tvguide.com/News/MegaBuzz-House-Glee-1031501.aspx

GREY'S ANATOMY - "It's a Long Way Back" - Everyone pulls together to help Callie and baby Sofia on their painstaking journeys to recovery in hopes of allowing mother and baby to finally meet; the sudden death of a clinical trial patient has Derek proceeding with more caution while Meredith makes a calculated and risky move; Alex treats a cranky old rich woman dying of cancer and gets an idea for a grandiose endeavor that is sure to get him the Chief Resident spot; and Teddy is pleasantly surprised by the return of a familiar face, on "Grey's Anatomy," THURSDAY, APRIL 28 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Apparently, we spoke too soon when we speculated that Scott Foley landing a CBS pilotmeant that he was on his way out of Seattle Grace (and Teddy’s sights) for good. Even if his new show gets picked up, sources hint he wouldn’t be written off Grey’s Anatomy (making room forJames Tupper to sweep back in as Dr. Perkins and pick Teddy up). Of course, leave it to Shonda Rhimes to confuse everything. “I love [Foley] and would keep him forever if I could,” she tells TV Line, “but on our show if you’re not a doctor, there’s not a lot for you to do.” Okay, try deciphering that one, Grey’s fans. www.wetpaint.com/greys-anatomy/articles/spoiler-will-teddys-husband-henry-stay-on-greys-anatomy

So, Sandra, that Grey’s Anatomy musical episode was, um, interesting. Let’s focus on the good, though: I’m really liking Teddy and Henry. Word on Grey’s latest couple? — Sue You’re not the only fan of the pair. Kevin McKidd [Owen] says the dynamic and unique situation between Teddy and her oft-ailing husband is second only to his character’s relationship with Cristina. “I think it’s interesting that Teddy is playing it all like a business transaction,” he says. “But as we all know there is no such thing as free lunches. I’m interested to see where that dynamic heads.” But before anything more happens, McKidd says the audience can expect Owen to weigh in on his friend’s romance after “ sort of dropping the ball on that one.” “He hasn’t been as attentive to his friend as you’d think. So I think, yeah, we’ll hear him pitch in soon.” insidetv.ew.com/2011/04/01/smallville-the-vampire-diaries-justified-and-house-find-out-whats-next-in-the-spoiler-room/

'Grey's Anatomy' Spoilers : Name of Callie's Baby Revealed and More
Grey's Anatomy fans have another long wait ahead of them for the next all-new episode of the ABC series. The next episode will air on April 28, but there are some spoilers out for the episode titled It's A Long Way Back. That title is fitting as well because Callie has a long recovery ahead of her. Sara Ramirez talked about that recovery recently as well, but the next episode will reveal the name of her baby, according to Wet Paint. Get ready to find out whether or not baby Sofia will survive in the next episode. Callie does have to overcome obstacles of her own before she walks down the aisle to marry Arizona Robbins as well. That isn't all that is set to happen on the next episode though. Derek will lose a patient on his trial, and this leads Meredith to pull a crazy stunt off. Alex Karev is also pulling out his own miracle move in order to get noticed for the Chief Resident job. Who will be granted that position? Will fans find out before the season is done? Grey's Anatomy has definitely made a strong and powerful comeback in season seven. Even with the musical episode throwing in something a bit different into the mix. Sara Ramirez has become the star of the show in season seven, but every character has had their moment to shine this season. It should be interesting to see what happens next. entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474979208042

www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=8053&MediaType=1&Category=4Sara Ramirez, Jessica Capshaw's 'Grey's Anatomy' Wedding Defended By Shonda Rhimes By On Top Magazine Staff Published: April 10, 2011 Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has defended the upcoming lesbian wedding of Sara Ramirez and Jessica Capshaw. The wedding of the show's gay couple, Callie Torres (played by Ramirez) and Arizona Robbins (Capshaw), will air on the May 5 episode of the ABC medical drama. But criticism over the wedding has forced Rhimes to defend the storyline. Rhimes was asked on Twitter why the show “panders to the gay/lesbian community.” Added the viewer, “fine. But straight people don't suck, you know.” “I DON'T pander,” Rhimes messaged back. “And straight people DON'T suck. At least, I don't suck. You might. I do not know you so I can't be sure. Also you just said I pander. So you'll excuse me for saying you suck.” In a second tweet, Rhimes went on to defend gay relationships. “Isn't love universal? Isn't that the point? That you can watch a straight couple in love or a lesbian couple in love and what you see and feel is the LOVE? How is that pandering? Maybe I've been pandering to straight couples all this time.” “Another thing: one of the reasons I cast the show the way I did is because I like to turn on the TV and see people who look like me living in a world of diversity. I'm betting there's a lesbian girl out there who likes to turn on the TV and see people who love like her too.” “So, you know, yeah I just went all ranty, but come on. Love is universal. Life is universal. Grow up and stop complaining and stop hating on a storyline because the characters are different from you. Because THAT Is ridiculous.”

'Grey's Anatomy': Sarah Drew on April and Stark and the season finaleOne of the new relationships on Grey's Anatomy seemed to be that of April and Stark, but that stalled before it ever really started. There's also the question of how they'll follow up last year's season finale with this year's. April & Stark According to TVGuide, Sarah Drew, who plays April, has said, "There's some really juicy, fun stuff coming up with April and Stark," but for fans who wanted to see the two get together, "not so much romantic." He had asked her out, and she had revealed to Lexie that she said yes, but when the show returned from hiatus, she pulled away and wound up watching From Here to Eternity by herself at home after pulling the "let's just be friends" card. Grey's Anatomy season 7 finale Drew also talked about what's coming up for the finale this year. After last year's finale, which saw the hospital facing tragedy when a shooter took out many doctors and nurses, fans have to wonder how they're going to end this year. According to Sarah Drew, "There's a lot of emotional stuff that happens between the characters that you love and the relationships that you love, that's going to turn things on its head. And something happens to my character that will change her future, for the next several seasons. It's very emotionally centered and emotionally grounded. It's not a big external thing that makes everybody freak out, but a lot of different characters are affected in this moment." What do you think will happen to April? Do you think your favorite couple will still be together when the season ends? What do you think of the April-Stark relationship on Grey's Anatomy? How do you think season 7 will end? entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474979212533

Sarah Drew may not have had a "moment" in the Grey's Anatomy musical, but she tells us April will not be on the backburner in the next few episodes. "There's some really juicy, fun stuff coming up with April and Stark. Not so much romantic," she teases. And the Season 7 finale, although not as explosive as last year, will not lack drama. "The finale is going to shock a lot of people," she says. "There's a lot of emotional stuff that happens between the characters that you love and the relationships that you love, that's going to turn things on its head. And something happens to my character that will change her future, for the next several seasons. It's very emotionally centered and emotionally grounded. Anything on Grey’s? — Rose There might not be a mega shooting happening at the end of this season, but Sarah Drew promises big twists — at least when it comes to her character April. “There is something big that will happen to her that will change the course of her future. That’s all I can say,” she teases. “I don’t actually know what the arcs are going to be, but I know this one thing that’s going to happen in the finale is going to affect whatever she does next season.” And before you even ask, no, this doesn’t have to do with her virginity. (Yes, I know how your mind works.) “In my latest conversations with producers and writers they were very adamant that April’s going to hang on to her virginity for a really long time. I don’t know if that means ’til the end of next season or ’til the show ends,” she says. (source EW) via SpoilerTV www.spoilertv.com/2011/04/latest-from-ew-various-shows.html#ixzz1JKVivdlY

Go. —Sharon Ausiello: Probably better to ask someone who’s actually read the script — like Sarah Drew! “Big, emotional things happen,” she tells us. “Something happens to April, which will change her future.” And for the record, that something does not involve the Big V. Says Drew with a smile: “She’s not losing her virginity yet.”

Doris Roberts on 'The Middle', 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Hot in Cleveland' (oh my!) The actress told EW exclusively that she’ll return to ABC’s The Middle – which stars her Raymond pal Patricia Heaton –to reprise her role as Brick’s teacher on May 25. “Patty and I go head to head once again,” Roberts said. “I still think I’m right about her kid and she still thinks I’m evil and mean.” Roberts will also play a patient in the April 28 episode of Grey’s Anatomy. “It is a serious problem for me. I can’t say much more than that. You will have to see it to believe it. The language I use in it is pretty wild. It is a character who is very different from myself.” insidetv.ew.com/2011/04/14/doris-roberts-on-the-middle-greys-anatomy-and-hot-in-cleveland-oh-my-exclusive/

Spoiler Chat jennurse00784: Grey's Anatomy scoop! Jackson's fancy Avery family connections have not been forgotten. Jesse Williams tells us, "There'll be some Harper Avery conversations even towards the end of this season. Jackson and Chief might be working on a project that might come under consideration for winning a Harper Avery. I would love to see Chelcie Ross come back; he played my grandfather. So yeah, I think that's something we can always either touch down on—I'm looking forward to finding out more about that family relationship for Jackson." James Pickens shared a little more about the research behind Jackson's push for Chief Resident: "It's a trial thing we're trying to do. Some rodents. They are going to be test subjects. It's going to be very funny. I'm looking forward to working with Jesse who plays Jackson." canadagirl86: Any new Grey's wedding news? Sara Ramirez tells us that wedding bells aren't the end of drama for Callie and Arizona on Grey's Anatomy: "We're not a Hallmark card, and there's always ups and downs, and that's how life goes. I personally just wonder how the whole baby and Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) with Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), how all of that is going to play out, if the relationship between Callie and Mark—because of the baby and their history—will trigger something for Arizona? Will that continue to cause friction? And when you share a child with someone, they're not going anywhere. There going to be there, but it's about establishing boundaries. So I'm curious to see who's going to establish what boundary and in what way and if that's going to cause any drama. Because I can only imagine that in Arizona's position, I could totally understand just wanting someone to draw a boundary and say, 'OK, he's the dad, but he doesn't get to show up all the time.' Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'Grey's,' Question: Do you have any Grey’s Anatomy scoop pertaining to Meredith and Derek? —Sam Ausiello: TVLine’s double wedding theory isn’t looking so far-fetched after all. The synopsis ABC released for the May 5 episode — which revolves around Callie and Arizona’s nuptials — includes this telltale line: “Meredith and Derek make a decision that will change their lives forever.” My guess? They’re either getting hitched or adopting a baby. Or both. Question: Michael, if you get a chance, can you ask Shonda Rhimes why Grey’s Anatomy is concentrating so much on Callie? Why not put the spotlight back on Meredith? —Iveta Ausiello: You got it. But first some Callie scoop! Sara Ramirez reveals that not only does Bailey officiate Calizona’s nuptials, but she serves as the couple’s spiritual guide as well! After her disapproving mother fails to sanction the same-sex union, Callie gets a much-needed pep talk from the MD fka The Nazi. “Bailey says to her, ‘God is everywhere. God is in you and me. Between us here in this room. And you don’t have to be in a church in order to marry someone and have a meaningful ceremony, union, marriage, wedding,’” previews Ramirez. “So at the end of the day, I think Callie starts to embrace and understand that the person she needs to look to the most for self-assurance, love and acceptance, is inside of her.” www.tvline.com/2011/04/ask-ausiello-spoilers-glee-greys-anatomy/
