I guess it was Acid House years ago, then I saw Trainspotting and Rome but really didn't notice him until Bedrooms and Hallways and then the later part of the first season of Rome.

I first saw him in Journeyman and loved him, then I saw the Leno interview and loved him even more.
I have seen cuts for Rome and it is on my list of DVD's to get/watch as it looks awesome.
I don't think I have ever seen trainspotting but I have heard of it...must go look it up as well.

Barbadosgirl, DO see Trainspotting. First because it´s a very good movie ( a classic, really), but also because you´ll be as surprised as I was when I realized that "guy" in Rome was Tommy from Trainspotting!!! Of course I had to watch it again, and he´s so young, and naive, and with such a lovely curled blond hair! I guess the movie was both a blessing and a curse to him, since he was catapulted (at the very beginning of his professional career) to worldwide fame and at the same time had to compete and be compared (always) to older/more seasoned Scottish actors such as Robert Carlyle and Ewan McGregor. But it´s a good sample to see how good he was then and how he aged/matured well.

"love at first sight"- Trainspotting "revived love"- Rome (major gap between them!)

Newbie in every way here. I didn't know a thing about Kevin McKidd until the Journeyman promotions hit the airwaves last year. At the time it was all about comparing him to former Brat Packer Anthony Michael Hall as they do look quite a bit alike.
I enjoyed Journeyman and have actually found a new appreciation for it on rewatching. KMK as Lucius Vorenus in Rome is what really got me interested. His intensity as an actor is just breath taking to watch. Now I'm watching North Square and realizing the execs in Great Britain are about as short-sighted as the execs at NBC here in the states. Great show and Kevin shines in it as a very different character from either Lucius or Dan Vasser.
I would love to see Trainspotting, Afterlife, 16 Years of Alcohol and Anna Karenina to name a few. Looking forward to seeing more of Kevin in future projects. I hope his time to shine is finally, fully at hand.

Trainspotting, love blondes so I noticed him quick, he also didn't look so sick at first and then he wore those tight white jeans and saw his butt, well that was it. Lost sight of him since I was in military and then I finally settled in states and some him in Rome, instantly knew who he was...

Trainspotting is one of my all time favourite movies (and books) so I first noticed Kevin in it but like all the other actors in the movie, I just sort of had a general appreciation for him from that time. I didn't necessarily seek out works of his to watch. From the first episode of Rome though (which I guess I saw a couple of years ago), that all changed.

It was Journeyman that introduced me to Kevin McKidd. I've seen Rome and as many movies of his that I can find. tina
