I haven't listened yet either but from the short summaries I've read, they only mention Owen in relation to the scenes with Callie and Derek out at the trailer.

Looks like there will be some good material for Kevin this week. I think this could be at the beginning of the episode as Derek still has the beard and in the promo shots where he's doing the scan I believe he's clean shaven (so seems like that will be at the end).

Valerie, thanks for the clip.
Maya and Kaz it's official, I have no will power AT ALL!
As to what we see.... I like that Owen is very forthright with Derek. Yes Owen is in denial but he's also right when it comes to what Derek did. Owen has played in the real world and it took a Mack truck to lay him flat vs a mini van. (RPG ambush vs a botched surgical procedure.) Not even going to go into how ridiculous Derek's reaction to the clinical trial patients is.
I do wonder if Cristina is the next to suggest that he seek treatment and that its just too much for Owen to handle. I can't imagine he would throttle her while still completely coherent but that's why those kinds of horrible incidents are defined as acting 'within the heat of the moment' . Certainly doesn't excuse any injury he causes and it would definitely make sense that hurting her is the impetus for him to admit to Derek that he needs help so hence the scan we see.
ETA: Interesting editing by the ctv folks. The voice over says "It's a long way back from rock bottom" We see Owen, not Derek, at the words 'rock bottom'

More Izzy. What I think is important to remember though is that this episode is about friendship and not walking away when you are needed most. Hopefully that translates to Owen as well.
Yeah Leanne, I'm so pathetic. I've never been such a washrag about spoilers for any show in the past. I blame it all on Kevin. He's just that good!

So is anyone else nervous to watch it like I am? I have such mixed feelings about the episode and I havent' even seen it yet. People are already discussing it to threads on TWOP.

This is intense, but I think it needed to happen to get Cristina and Owen's heads out of the sand about the PTSD. Three more people know about it, and Cris has some back-up now. I do, though, think it's too bad they give away some of the most important scenes of the episode with the sneaks. So much for my "no-spoilers" will-power!

All I can say is "WOW" to that scene at Cristina's apartment. This is basically how I saw the choking scene going down but it is sooo much better than it was in my head. It's still horrific but the part of me that appreciates amazing acting like Sandra's and Kevin's, loves it. The look in Owen's eyes, so vacant, is just...wow. Don't really have words right now. I am so excited for this episode to air.
And the emotional scenes afterwards...I am so glad that Shonda went there. Normally she will give us a significant scene and then cut to the next day but she gave us Cristina being freaked out but then comforting him and trying to talk him down. SO GOOD!

what I want to know is how they end up in bed together. Maybe he's over there and its just too late for him to go home so they just sleep together w/o the sex part. It looks like they are sleeping on top of a made bed.

Yeah, they're on Cristina's bed fully clothed under a blanket. I imagine this episode follows on not too long after the last episode and that was a tough day. So perhaps he just goes there so they can be together. I don't think they'll show us how he got there but they are intimate enough (emotionally) for this to just make sense to me.

www.etonline.com/news/2009/03/72179/index.htmlSee Video embeded in this article Cristina (Sandra Oh) is almost strangled to death, and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) begins the battle for her life when Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is scheduled to perform delicate brain surgery! ET has your sneak peek. Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd) PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) almost causes him to kill Cristina when the two docs are sleeping and for no determined reason he begins to strangle her. Callie (Sara Ramirez) intervenes, but will Cristina be able to forgive him this time? Or is their relationship doomed? Then Izzie goes from surgeon to patient as she fights the cancer that has spread throughout her body. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) convinces Derek to return to work, because she feels he is the only one who can perform the delicate brain surgery that Izzie needs. After his drunken state the past few weeks, all eyes are on him as he resumes his surgical career. And Derek proposes one more time, but Meredith isn't ready to commit, saying, "Izzie comes first." The "Elevator Love Letter" episode airs Thursday, March 26 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

This is the blurb from eonline that goes with the sneak peeks. I thought it was too good not to post here:
Welcome back into our good graces, Grey's Anatomy.
Owen's combat-stress-induced strangulation of Cristina (which you can see above) can't be rightly characterized as awesome, but the striking performances and the inherent drama of the situation are definitely superlative. Wow.
Kudos to everyone for introducing Kevin McKidd into the cast so flawlessly and to Mr. McKidd himself for justly deserving the fan-given sobriquet of McBadass. You rule, dude!
(Katherine Heigl, be sure to bring it good in these last few episodes, or judging by the work above, Sandra Oh might just act her way past in you in the Emmy trophy race.)
