uh...wow....they really have done it again.
Okay I'll get the squicky bits out of the way first. WTH were all of the interns-let alone residents like Yang and Alex-thinking sitting down in the morgue having lunch with dead people? Bailey was perfectly justified in losing her mind with those people towards the end of the episode. That was just plain sick. Maybe I've missed something as I'm a simple country girl and not a doctor but honestly that was just sick, stupid and LAME.
Moving on: Derek is an idiot for thinking Cristina would even look at Mark Sloan twice. His 'flirting' went right over her head for so many reasons. Maybe I don't know the characters well enough but again, stupid.
Thank the stars there wasn't alot of Mer/Der, 'nough said there.
George and the robot....awwww, poor George. It was nice to see the Cheif having a laugh for a change and no one got hurt-or grossed out-by what he did to the dummy, except maybe George himself!
Loved the surreal reflections of the old couples relationship vs Bailey's current marital crisis. Touching that she couldn't let the woman die anymore than the husband could.
Izzy, Denny's ghost...well, I'm not invested enough in that character to care too much. I see what happened in the past vs the present and it seemed like a full circle approach that maybe long time fans would have appreciated. I thought Erica Hahn's reaction was completely justified. I can't be the only viewer who has dealt with effects of organ transplantation on a family member or close friend. Izzy was punished by the Cheif but IMO that is not enough. Seattle Grace deserves to have its status as a transplant center reexamined after such a gross violation. As Bailey said in the morgue: these are people you are dealing with. Lives are being altered or ended due to the personal desires of doctor's vs their professional responsiblity. I have a serious issue with that and I applauded Erica's outrage.
Finally to another excellent, layered performance by Kevin as Owen Hunt. Looks like the path to the road of PTSD is well laid out. The man isn't sleeping. He isn't keeping control of his anger. Which isn't to say that his anger at the behavior of Cristina and Alex wasn't completely justified. They were treating that man like a lab specimen and a gaming piece. Ridiculous behavior no matter the demons in either of their pasts. The best doctors are the ones who can be professional but not forget that saving lives is as much about saving the spirit of a person as it is the flesh. I did not expect Owen to lose his cool. I did not expect the emotional strain in his voice when he sat in the locker room and asked Cristina if she had even bothered to learn the patient's name. Nor did I expect her to share something so personal about her life with Owen. She wants him to respect her, not just like her and get along with her. It's an important distinction. I couldn't help but laugh at his observation of the flirting conversation between Mark and Cristina that left her laughing. He doesn't want to get involved because he doesn't wan't to get hurt again. He doesn't want to sleep unless he is utterly exhausted or he will likely dream. Owen is running and yet he can't help but stop long enough to connect with Cristina simply because no matter how hurt he is, no man is an island. No one can function like that for long and stay sane. Well done Kevin and kudos to the writers of GA for a well written story aside from the quips I mentioned at the beginning of this 'review' I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did .[/spoiler]

I believe this show will get interesting. I have not watched it in the past because it always seemed impersonal. And TOO much talking...I was bored after the five minutes of watching it... I don't like soap operas.... However, Kevin McKidd in just the few scenes he has been in, he has brought honesty to this show. It is going to be fun watching these scenes unravel

CBS’ CSI (11.1/17) the top-rated show of the evening in the overnights, followed by Grey’s Anatomy on ABC at a 9.5/15.

Right I have finally managed to see this weeks episode I really enjoyed it yes the dead bodies lying all over the place is a bit to much but I understand what they were trying to do - I guess its easy for Doctors to become to desensitized to the whole death thing and people become numbers so to speak. I thought they got that across well. Im beginning to pick up on the idea of Grey's with its subtle underlying messages and storyline. I found the old couple to be quite sad and George to be funny. Its quite an emotional ride watching one of these shows.
KMK was just super awesome...and you felt everything he was going through. Brilliant scene when he watched Christine and Mark chatting and then the finale chat in the change room.

I'm just gonna remark generally real fast as I'm updating the site, but... well done on all these reviews! These are fantastic to read! I think a character like Kevin's has been needed at "Grey's" for a long time. For one thing, he is trying very hard to keep things professional, which I like. And he's emotional toward his patients--if only I knew real doctors that got offended when patients were being neglected or treated poorly in hospitals. So many let nurses do the work and are quick to get in and quick to get out of the room. But then there's something to be said for not wanting to get too attached to your patients, too, should something critical happen. Kevin is doing superb work--I'm enjoying that I can sometimes see glimpses of Vorenus and, yet, Owen Hunt is more well-rounded. But, wow, is he going to snap in the next episode? He certainly seems about ripe for that...and Christina needing to be there for him might draw her out of her selfishness. Although she's been consistently my favorite character on the show. Finally, thanks to all of you who have been sharing articles and youtube clips! We're trying to make sure that we credit you when we post those links at the site as well--thanks again for all your hard work! Although it's definitely the more fun side to "work," I think

Oh, and I think CSI has risen in the ratings this year because of the main characters leaving--they had the return of 1 character due to the "death" of another on their premiere and I believe the main character of "Grissom" is disappearing after this year as well. So CSI consistently beating ABC and "Grey's" in ratings doesn't necessarily mean as much as it might normally in this case--it's more like many fans returning to that show to watch "the final bow." But it's true that many "Grey's" fans have been coming and going, with the return of "Denny" and the end of "Erica" and now perhaps "Callie," too? People get really, really attached to these characters in a way that I haven't noticed with many other shows. It's nice to see them getting attached to "Owen" that way, too.
