So having just seen the Joshua Jackson Canadian film "One Week" I have to say I honestly don't see how he could have played Owen with the same level of acting as Kevin does. I guess mainly its because I don't think he has the same maturity that Kevin pulls off with Owen and from what I saw in the film Jackson doesn't really have a personality that comes through on the screen, unlike Kevin who is sort of a chameleon in how he just hones into the raw emotions of his characters. Anyway not to bash or anything, I am just thankful that they went with a different actor for Owen. I don't think I would be as invested in the character with such a different acting style.

I think the role/character would have been completely different....his story arc. Not this more mature role of Owen and PTSD . Also Im not to sure about the chemistry between him and Cristina .... he seems so young in comparison or am I just stuck on his role as Pacey .... give him a chance with a little maturing .....he might shine at a later point in his career .....

I think Joshua Jackson does a good enough job on Fringe as the rebellious son reluctantly taking care of his deranged father. However, I cannot see him pulling off the emotional complexity of Owen Hunt. Plus, IMO, Kevin is waaaaaay sexier!
