Yeah, true. I am prone to crying (as in, I will openly shed a tear when something touches me) and I didn't feel the weight of this scene in that way. There's no doubt that the stories that Callie and Owen told were tragic, especially when you consider that they were true, and I really did like the moment as a whole but I didn't feel it the way I've felt some other scenes this season. But perhaps it was because another part of me was annoyed at Derek for his little pity party and wanted Hunt to march up and tell him to get over himself (much like Kevin thinks Lucius Vorenus would probably tell Owen Hunt to do).

firstly the rating for this epi from mediaweek Grey’s Anatomy, which dominated the 9 p.m. hour with 14.36 million viewers and a 4.9/12 among adults 18-49 now Ive just finished watching and balled my eyes out wow the izzie thing was really sad....and how it corresponded to the the blowhole guy. sniff I enjoyed Owen the scene with Bailey and wow doesnt he just tower over her ..... even the interaction with Dereck of couse the good info of the evening was Mer asking Cris about having her GI Joe so it looks like we are warming up to something there...mm perhaps next week I wasnt expecting much but I enjoyed it from the Izzie and Dereck point of view it was sniff *grab tissue* I think I needed a good cry so it was a great release and therefore epi
