tv.ign.com/articles/988/988165p1.htmlquote: What Worked The season's best, most effective addition was Journeyman and Rome alum Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, an Iraqi War trauma surgeon returning to Seattle from the front lines. Not only is McKidd an immediately likeable and engaging actor, his struggle with PTSD throughout the season – and especially how it impacted his burgeoning relationship with Christina – proved both relevant and dramatically gripping. His interactions with Christina were perfectly balanced for optimum drama, never together and never apart for so long that the back-and-forth became frustrating. Viewers could clearly see a softening of the typically hard-edged Christina, a pleasant change for what had become something of a one-note character, as well as relate to Owen's internal struggles, shared by many a real-life war vet. I think we all here agree

Just something I noticed - someone else has probably too but did you know that Kevin sent Kevin Mckidd Online its very own, "Hey there now!" It was of course one of the 3 word phrases he was allowed to say to Cristina. It is on Kevin's Space - Wed 18th of March and he starts off his message with, "hey there now!" Coincidence? The timing seems right!

We know from the press that Kevin did in the week that ELL aired that he was filming episode 22 at that time (ELL aired on 26 March). The "Hey there now" stuff was in episode 21, so 18 March definitely seems like it could have been around the time of filming.
