Somewhere on here I remember reading a thread about the fact that Kevin is in the last singing sequence in the movie, when they perform Blow Gabriel Blow.
I'm just now watching the first musical sequence (Anything Goes) and spy Kevin in the background there as well. Did we know that already?

Yeah that's right, you just see him briefly a couple of times in the first piece.

I love when everyone joins in to perform Blow, Gabriel, Blow at the end. Obviously not all of those actors have musical theatre singing and dancing chops but they are versatile enough to make it look like they do.
I know there's not much Kevin in this movie but I still love it because it's a tribute to Cole Porter and his marvellous work (this is the singing/dancing geek in me coming out).
It's nice to see a cameo from adopted aussie Caroline O'Connor in there as well, doing Anything Goes.
I've not ever performed with her myself but back in the day danced with and/or competed against people that she's been in shows with (in fact, I think right now there's a girl in the current aussie tour of Chicago with Caroline who I know from my dance comp days here). How's that for 6 degrees of KMK? Do I qualify...?

It's a bit of a blink and you'll miss it part. I know the focus of the movie is obviously Cole, but I do wish they'd fleshed some of the other characters out a little more as at times, it felt like you had to join the dots to work out who was who. Bobby Reed showed up by the poolside in one scene (I think that was his first appearance, aside from the intro right?) and then a couple of scenes later, he's gone again after blackmailing the Porters. K.

Oh, I remember watching this film because of Robbie Williams, and I have to admit that I didn't notice Kevin at all, which is not surprising as I never would've connected him to Tommy in Trainspotting, which, thus far, had been the only movie with him that I had seen back then...
It's an alright film, the music and the dancing & singing are great... The rest feels a bit too lax, not enough focus on other characters...
