I'm sweating whether or not Owen will even survive the season. I think Owen is the one fighting for their life. In season 6 Shonda let Owen be shot, the next two season finales she put emotional traumas on him, now it´s time for Shonda to change the pace and put Owen´s life in peril. I don´t see anything positive happening in Owen´s life. He is there only to be tortured.

To be honest... I've stopped expecting ANY real discussion between Cristina & Owen! If they trade a dozen sentences across the full finale, I'll be shocked. I think the epic marriage breakdown scenes in Season 6 permanently used up the dialogue allotment for Sandra & Kevin. Just sayin'.

::hugs for Trinity!:: I haven't seen the FB chat -- can you summarize for the rest of us? Please? Pretty please? With whipped cream and those little colored sprinkles on top? I feel like a whipped dog... Shonda has trained me to anticipate and prepare for the WORST! When asked if there's still hope for C/O he answered that there's always hope. Judging with my logic if he was to leave he would not be saying that or at least he wouldn't even have bothered to answered that question. Again IMO. Someone else asked him if Cristina and Owen will ever remarry. His answer was "maybe".. Also he said we have not yet seen the last of Ethan and he described C/O in the SF as "intense". His favorite scene is the shower scene from 5x12. This is what I remember now. Also supposing this SF is KMK's exit from the show (which IMO I don't think it is) I'd rather think he'd be dying doing something heroic during the storm than that he decides to leave Cristina in the middle of a storm. Again my logic. Shonda has the tendency to leave things up in the air or solve them in a very short time. Like it would be Owen changing his mind about kids given what's happening with Ethan. If C/O get a 30 second scene where they talk we can consider ourselves lucky.. Shonda has pushed too far with this story and has written them in a very tight corner, one from where is hard to get out of.

I think the only reason this story has been dragged so long is that now she really doesn't know what to do!! Breaking them up would be wrong because she already said they are soul mates a while back!! she already made a statement that Cristina wont change her mind - so the only option left is Owen compromising or them splitting because one dies. Either ways I don't see a great outcome to this mess or how is she going to resolve this mess!

“There’s never been any suggestion that Cristina is going to meet anyone in the middle,” Rhimes notes. “Cristina is not that person.”
If Cristina is not willing to support Owen adopting a child, then it´s high time she lets him go. If she can´t make any kind of compromise where no one is asking her to be a mother, then she isn´t in the relationship with her whole heart. Set Owen free, because she doesn´t deserve him if she can´t compromise.

If she just lets him go and they break up then owen basically wont have a storyline. . we saw what it was like when Cristina was in MN not much happened with him u less it involved Cristina somehow. I really dont think this season is about how they break up over one issue for good, it is about how they figure out to stay together instead of total disregard for what the other wants out of the relationship.
