The episode was kind of boring. But I loved the Owen and Cristina scene.

Snoozefest. The little OC sceen was cute, but this whole lawsuit/settlement/ buying the hospital plot needs to end.

Really boring episode. It's like the 3rd in a row.. Is it just me or is Meredith getting more and more annoying with every episode!!! And although I really did like the OC scene, I am getting a little tired of the whole having sex all the time!!! I really hope we get more than that maybe after this hospital fest is over!!!

Not much to comment on, other than I find Jo really, really annoying. She strikes me as the ideal EP replacement. Just sayin'.
I kept finding myself comparing Richard's style with Owen's style in the chieftain department. You totally knew this episode was all about Richard's maneuvering Callie into making an offer on the hospital. He's so sly and such a smooooth operator! Whereas Owen is still trying to be a straight shooter, even when the situation obviously galls him. What are the chances he resigns in favor of Richard by the end of the season?

I've been willing to give this show a lot of patience, but it's wearing dangerously thin now. Too many illogical inconsistencies. And I'm frustrated at Cristina and Owens limbo. My money is on Owen getting fired- he asked Richard way back when why they hadn't fired him. I think it's coming, but it's taking too d**n long. The attempts at humor were awful and juvenile. I loved how Owen is just rolling with it, trying to do his job even though he hates it, and always coming back to Cristina for support.

And make it 3, 3 following snoozing and deadly boring episodes ! What a relief not having watched it live and not entirely...love modern technology, really thank you guys to post all the clips in YT ! Save my time and save me from killing myself for all this another boring episode.
..oh, and Jo...can they just stop from forcing her down on us ? ...why do I feel like she is going to receive the same kind of treatment from the viewers that Kim Raver's character, the dear Teddy Altman received ?! Karev deserves better and the writers have the obligation to write a character that deserves Alex, not that...what is she ?...the mere fact that Meredith gives Alex her benediction on Jo, I say, no thank you, you can do better Alex !

I totally agree. Why does Meredith have to say it is OK to pursue Jo? And Alex goes and is all smitten by her. Why is Shonda portraying both Meredith and Derek as the superwoman, superman who knows it all? Cristina would be just as awesome both mother and wife, if only Shonda let her be, if not a whole lot better at both than superwoman Meredith. And that smug smile and the way Derek looked at Owen and Cahill - he is so full of himself. He is unbearable. But really Webber killed it, the way he looked at Derek´s face on that elevator door. Words were not necessary.

I tried to watch this episode (I had DVR'd it and finally had a chance to see it last night) and I almost couldn't. I found it virtually unwatchable. The attempts at humor weren't funny; the complete disregard for credibility was beyond annoying. Image consultants wandering the hospital halls and taking pictures of patients while they are being treated? Really? Don't patient privacy laws exist in Shonda's world? And the hospital chain that lives and dies by "efficiency" treats a couple that walks into the emergency room using false names without getting insurance information? What???
The ONLY thing I liked in the entire episode was seeing how good Owen/Kevin looks in a suit. Even the last scene with Owen and Cristina didn't really work for me, because at this point I'm starting to feel like the criticism that they went from being married to being sex friends might have some validity. The only interaction they seem to have is about sex. If "the talk" doesn't come very, very soon, I may finally give up.
In the past, I've been frustrated about how C/O were portrayed, and I still am. But the whole show has gone over some kind of a cliff, IMO. If it weren't for Kevin and Sandra, there would be no reason at all to even fast forward through most of it!
Sorry to be so negative, but this week I really can't think of anything good to say. Except, of course, about Kevin in a suit . . .

Sorry to be so negative, but this week I really can't think of anything good to say. Except, of course, about Kevin in a suit . . . Ditto. I think the shark has been well and truly jumped. I don't know what private hospitals are like in the US but there are plenty here and none of them treat patients the way a Pegasus run hospital seems to. It's just beyond believable to me. And boring. Without a word of a lie, it took me 3 attempts to get through this episode. I kept falling asleep. And I'm with you HopeW - pretty much the only positive thing was how good Owen/Kevin looked in a suit. But it also made me sad to see him toeing the Pegasus line and going from badass trauma surgeon to glorified admin staff. When the Owen/Cristina rebirth storyline began it didn't seem like it was just about sex. I'm holding onto a little bit of hope that it isn't and there is a talk coming, but between the oncall room interaction this week and the snide comments from Alex they certainly seem to be painting it that way. Shonda, what are you playing at?? Not much more to say about this episode. Total snoozefest.
