Meredith and Alex have a wild, debauched fling?
I'm hoping for some solid Owen storylines which have nothing to do with him turning into a heartbroken drunk...

How likely a risk is it that Shonda will turn to the whole "Owen turns to heavy drinking to cope", being as that was a "Sliding Door" possible future for him?
Likewise -- I'll be very interested to see how Owen's PTSD storyline resurfaces (assuming that it will...)

Wishful thinking
Geena Davis. Dr. Herman? Right? It was hard to find her character’s name, had to rewatch 11.1 Is she going to save April’s child in a difficult medical situation? Easy and predictable SL.
How is it like for a guy to be bullied in his job by a powerful woman? Personally I would like to see G. Davis and KMK interact in some conflict. But, please, no love interest. Quoting KMK: "You never know…" :-)
A twist in the storyline could be her character trying to take over Dr. Hunts position as chief at the GSMH. Poor Owen, still grieving over Cristina, bullied by a woman in his chief position? I don’t want to see Owen having a similar story as chief Webber. A good opportunity imho to get Owen edgier but using more diplomacy and give Dr. Herman a hard fight to keep his chief position.
She is a very rich woman and her long term enemy is C. Avery. Dr. Herman was in love with Jackson’s dad, but he married C. Avery. That’s why Dr. Herman wants to take over the successful hospital and change it. First of all she wants to get rid of the H.A. Foundation. Everyone is happy about this prospective, so the doctors could hope for important awards and funding. But it is only a blessing in disguise. Pediatric surgery has to extend for Dr. Herman’s research. Therefore the cardio department (CD) has to be closed. Dr. Hunt wants to keep it. He is very sentimental about the CD and would never agree to have it closed. For the first time in his life he is not resigning as he did once and he has a cause to fight for: His chief position and keeping the CD. Two divided teams or one supporting Owen? Can he reunite his team? (Of course, he is Dr. Hunt, the almost perfect coach.) Arizona and Alex agree with Dr. Herman. Meredith is also interested in closing cardio, because she wants her new half sister out of the hospital and her own research needs space and funding too. Jackson and April are undecided. Dr. Herman saved their child but on the other hand Jackson could lose his position on the board, if the H.A-Foundation is kicked out. And April wants to be loyal to Chief Hunt. Webber wants to keep the CD (he has to train the interns) and also backs Owen as chief. Bailey is happy with the conflict, because she only sees a good opportunity to push her genome project to whoever will win. And Meggie has to fight for her department and her own job. Derek stays official out of this, but he secretly supports Owen and Amy backs Meggie as her new friend.
(If you find spelling and grammar mistakes, keep them. I’m not a native speaker, but I tried my best.)

So am I the only person who thought that the kiss between Owen and Amelia was absolutly adorbs?!?! I am looking forward to seeing where this relationship goes...I am guessing that their dark pasts will come into play. My current theory is that the carefree cuteness of the relationship will melt into Owen in savior mode after Amelia tries, and fails, to save Herman. I foresee a very dark and twist moment for her and Owen comes to the rescue.
Also, I would love to see Herman survive but I just don't think it's in the cards.
