It's entirely possible given that this is the 100th episode and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Denny) happened to be at the cake cutting. I don't think Shonda would close out the season without bringing Denny back.
No Owen mention in the summary for 2 episodes in a row now. Sounds like Kevin has been busy though so I won't read too much into it.

If Izzie starts seeing Denny again that is NOT good news for her cancer - would mean she has new mets on her brain! That would lend to her dying wish to get married though....

It started with "Dream a Little Dream of me" and it ends with "Don't Dream It's Over". Are they talking about Owen and Christina?......

They're probably talking about everything. Shonda loves to come full circle.

WIKI I hope that episode title is right and that it refers to this song, which is one of my very favourite Crowded House songs: There is freedom within, there is freedom without Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup Theres a battle ahead, many battles are lost But youll never see the end of the road While youre travelling with me Hey now, hey now Dont dream its over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they wont win Now Im towing my car, theres a hole in the roof My possessions are causing me suspicion but theres no proof In the paper today tales of war and of waste But you turn right over to the t.v. page Hey now, hey now Dont dream its over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us We know they wont win Now Im walking again to the beat of a drum And Im counting the steps to the door of your heart Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief Hey now, hey now Dont dream its over Hey now, hey now When the world comes in They come, they come To build a wall between us Dont ever let them win

Another twit from Ausiello:
"EWAusielloFiles4/30 Grey's spoiler alert: Mer doesn't want one of Der's BFs at wedding. Also, Heigl is bringing her A game to these final eps."
I think its Owen because she still must have beef with him, and is probably worried about the effect on Cris.

I think its Owen because she still must have beef with him, and is probably worried about the effect on Cris. Or the Chief. There were TV Guide spoilers (I think) about Meredith and Derek putting together their guest list and the fact that Meredith didn't want the Chief on it, or something. I don't pay too much attention to their storylines.

From Ask Ausiello:
Question: Please tell me there's some good stuff for the amazingly talented Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd in the next two episodes of Greys. --HY Ausiello: This Thursday's ep? Not so much. Next Thursday's ep? Hell yes!

So maybe there is a little light for these two then? Good, glad to hear it! Yes, but it sounds like we have to get through this week first. From Kristin: Kelly in Laguna Beach, Calif.: Do you have any news on when Cristina and Owen will reunite on Grey's Anatomy? Thanks! Unfortunately not anytime soon. Owen doesn't have time for Cristina anymore (what with his newfound interest in turning George into a trauma surgeon). Actually, to be more specific, Owen's therapist doesn't let Owen have time for her. Yep, Owen's shrink has given him a specific list of three-word sentences he can say to Yang, but "I love you" is definitely not one of them. Either way, Cristina is not a happy camper.

Sounds like Christina is going to be feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders...being there for Izzie, trying to be happy for Mer but between being reminded of her own miserable non-wedding and failed relationship with Burke, and struggling to come to terms with everything that's happened/going on with Owen, she must be miserable inside.
I am really looking forward to Owen's therapy scenes. They did such a great job with Mer/wyatt before, I am sure this will be great too. I think we are going to be in for a treat - opportunity for some awesome acting and we get to learn more about Owen.
It's going to be agonizing to watch, but good. Going crazy here. Can't wait!!

I am actually looking forward to seeing how Owen deals with Cristina. He's obviously going to want to reach out to her (I presume) but at the same time he'll want to be listening to his therapist and doing all he can to get better. I'm intrigued to hear some of these three-word sentences.
Poor Cristina. It's not going to be an easy day for her but it sounds like next episode will be much better.

Well for what it's worth I think they go to the wedding together. Or at least they talk while they're there. Definitely a rough road ahead for both characters. I really can't wait for the therapy sessions. I'm curious how and why Owen is told to keep his distance from Cristina. I agree it's necessary but oy the angst!

If the therapist is giving Owen a list of what he can say to Cristina, they must talk about her in the session. I'm interested to see what is said.
Also, it sounds like they will at least have scenes together this episode but that they might just consist of Owen saying 3 words and trying to get away. I think there's potential for it to be quite entertaining (albeit angst-ridden), especially if Cristina tries to strike up conversation with him and he has to struggle to respond using a therapist-approved phrase.
