I am disappointed for Sandra and Chandra. That said, I am a fan of 24 and Cherry Jones did an outstanding job as the president last season. She was serious competition and worthy of the win.

LOS ANGELES TV stars Joel McHale of NBC’s ‘Community‘ and Sofia Vergara of ABC’s ‘Modern Family‘ are handling announcement duties for the prime-time Emmy Award nominations. McHale and Vergara will be joined by TV academy Chairman and CEO John Shaffner for the early morning ceremony on July 8 to reveal the nominations. Shaffner said Wednesday that Spike Jones Jr. will produce the nominations announcement. Don Mischer is producer of the main awards show, airing live Aug. 29 on NBC.
