Yeah kaz, I think that's her too! Thanks for posting the link. The bride's gorgeous, the groom is looking sexy, the guests look happy for them and the whole wedding ceremony looks absolutely beautiful.

And who noticed? Mark's on the best man position. Looks like Derek's in jail at that point maybe?

What is it with Meredith always wearing brown at Cristina's weddings? LOL I like Cristina's hair in the second pic though gorgeous in the back. In the other pic you can't really see what its supposed to look like.

wow. Mark as the best man? may be Derek is still recovering from the operation. I would expect Owen picking him as best man, not Mark... we'll see. Also, I see a tall guy behind Mark that doesnt seem to be one of the doctors we know. Owen's Dad? Cristina step dad? can't wait till the SP!!! I hope we can get more than a 2 second scene !!!

It wouldn't make much sense to have Cristina's step dad there and no Helen. I feel like we're being robbed of a great Helen/Owen moment. But I'll take what i can get.

Woo so exited by this epi!!! ;D It's too hard to wait after these pictures! Owen is gorgeous as usual... for Cristina... something is wrong for me I don't know if I don't like the color of the dress or if it's her hair... but I think she looks a bit like an old lady like this... But I will deal with it I bet that the proposal happen just after the saving of Derek, maybe in the OR ? It would explain, to me, why we didn't have a proper scene between O/C at the end of S6

Hello ladies, Ilwo as always we probably share a brain because when I saw THE picture my first tought was the same about Cris look. I think it's the hairstyle and the neckless fault but maybe it feel that way on the photo.
Anyway I'm of course totally exited about this wedding and I have the strong feeling that Cristina is the one who are going to propose. Less than 2 weeks.....

I too really hate the hair. I understand that Owen is blinded by any view of her neck and that may be why The Hair is up but the style........umm, no. I mean it's Cristina who borrowed Sandra Oh's hair and I support her right to wear it any way she wants but no.
Owen should look happier. He looks like he's going to hurl.
Maybe the ep will answer this stuff for me.

Well they both look really emotional to me. Cristina has a really soft look on her face, Owen looks like he is holding back tears or soemthing

Cristina has a really soft look on her face, Owen looks like he is holding back tears or soemthing Agreed - these two have fought hard to get here and both seem to be struggling to keep their emotions in check in those photos. As much as Cristina and Owen are committed to acknowledging their bond to each other with the people important to them, they're both still exceedingly private people. (So private, in fact, that even those close to them have misinterpreted the depth of that relationship, but that's for another thread's discussion...) I love that this wedding seems to be more a melding of who they are, something meaningful to them, rather than a dash to city hall or just the two of them with a judge on a Caribbean island. (Though the latter idea is good for the honeymoon, minus the judge, of course.)

I'm just waiting for Shonda to screw this couple up again.

I'm just waiting for Shonda to screw this couple up again. And, of course, she may do that. But I'm going to enjoy this moment for as long as it lasts. From all I've seen and read, Shonda's intention is to present this marriage as a good thing, as a symbol of the "rebirth" that is the announced theme of Season 7. So although I agree it is always risky to trust Shonda, I'm going to do that for the moment and try to enjoy the ride. I can always get depressed later if she in fact messes up. And she can throw angst at them without screwing them up. They could have dealt with the problems that came out of Owen's discovery of the true depths of Cristina's surgery addiction and her past romantic disasters, and with Cristina's challenges in dealing with Owen's PTSD relapse, without that. It was the use of the triangle plot device and the OOC behavior on Owen's part particularly that was required to make it "work" (to the extent it did) that accomplished the screwing. Also - I agree with MarryMe and Ella. What I see in the wedding spoiler pictures is two people who are feeling appropriately emotional about the major step they are taking. It's a tasteful elegant wedding in Mer's living room, not a keg party on the beach! They are making a life commitment to each other and they are both aware of the significance of that. Totally appropriate, IMO.

Well my worry isn't so much her, as much as its how she trusts too much in the other writers. She is good at setting the tone in the beginning, but the writers like Krista, etc. always seem to be all over the place and push certain characters while neglecting others. Shonda also does not follow through with characters and their storylines which is a major issue as seasons go by. I don't want OC to fade in the background after getting hitched, but I also don't want there to be as much unnecessary drama that existed last season simply to introduce another character.
I am hoping it will be better since Ellen is back full time and now the show can be more centered on the core characters, while developing the others when needed, one can dream right?

interesting topic that Ladyvi brought up in the Promo thread just whats the deal with Owen's lighter hair how are the going to explain that... as she says he could not have been dying his hair all along ~ mm but perhaps he is dying his hair now who knows LOL I guess they are going to just ignore the colour change and hope we do to ....

I'll tell you what I don't want to see at the Yang-Hunt nuptials, one of those OTT romantic comedy moments between Ma Hunt and Teddy where Ma Hunt says something to Teddy like "I always thought he'd marry you" that'd totally ruin the moment for me, though I wouldn't put it past Shonda

I'm wondering who the 3 unknown people are - there's a man behind Teddy, an asian woman and another man behind Cristina (and near Mama Hunt) that we've never seen, that I can recall.
Also, re the lighter hair colour I have no idea how they will explain it sensibly in the show but suspect they'll just let it slide. I am wondering whether they're letting Kevin go lighter because James Tupper is coming on board at least for a little while and seems to have reddish hair. Mark (who used to be lighter) seems to be going quite grey so now Owen gets to be the blonde. Just a thought. Or maybe Kevin's hair was just getting damaged from all the colouring! Either way, I don't mind because I like the lighter locks.

ITA Kaz! I don't think they will explain the hair color change. They didn;t explain it either when they changed it to different shades of red I hope they keep his natural color for the rest of the season and that is not related to some other work that Kevin is doing that requires him to be more his natural self ... Last season he started also with a lighter color and then they switch it back to red, so I guess is a wait and see! regarding the wedding guests I hope they are at least mentioned ... don't expect big explanations on who they are , I hope they spend more time with Owen and Cristina than the rest of the people I am afraid that with that many pictures already posted there will be little more about the ceremony to show . Waiting for the proposal scene!!!!

Isn't the other woman next to Mrs. Hunt the same who was in the OR with Cristina? I think she might have been a scrub nurse. It is definately not Helen Rubenstein
